is an English major with thirty-eight years of teaching experience in both public and private schools in Southern California. Her graduate work focused on the areas of grammar and writing. She currently teaches for the English and Education departments at Biola University. Passionate about teaching students to write and speak properly, Christie pours her enthusiasm and knowledge into each lesson. Years of tutoring and teaching have acquainted Christie with the interests, needs, and concerns of students. A mother of three grown children and a grandmother of nine, Christie resides with her husband in Monrovia, California. Christie's hobbies include cooking and anything out of doors.
